ConCom is moving one step further by welcoming more Clients into the Forum and consequently more Contractor nominations. Forthcoming audits will improve the shared data resources of the scheme for all those taking part.

ConCom is short for Contractor Competency. A collective of Client representatives work in partnership with Impress to develop methods for measuring systems-based competency performance of their Contractor partners, many of whom work as part of an extended workforce. The Forum scheme is of specific interest to SMEs if they are keen to grow into the term Contractors of the future in the Humber region of the UK.

Impress administers this scheme, which consists of a themed on-site audit gathering key indicative competency systems data for the Client group. The findings contribute to action plans from which some Contractors are able to develop greater potential for employability by major players in the Chemical and Allied Industries' Sector. Linking to the CATCH facility, Impress is able to address actions with targeted solutions to a range of identified skills and systems deficiencies.
